Ralph Ware

Ralph Ware is the founder and owner of Warehouse Industries, LLC, a defense consulting firm focused on assisting client companies navigate the defense acquisition and procurement enterprise through uniquely designed and custom-tailored defense market entry and expansion strategies. Ralph founded Warehouse Industries after retiring from the U.S. Army with over 25 years of active service.

A native of Aurora, Colorado, Ralph Ware received his commission from the United States Military Academy at West Point as a Second Lieutenant in the Field Artillery in 1999. COL Ware’s initial assignment was with the

1st Battalion, 7th Field Artillery as part of the 1st Infantry Division, Schweinfurt, Germany. There he served as a Fire Direction Officer, Platoon Leader, and Executive Officer. COL Ware was then assigned to the 17th Field Artillery Brigade in Lawton, OK where he took command of B/3-18 FA (Paladin).  After returning from deployment, 3-18FA was de-activated and COL Ware assumed command of B/1-12 FA (MLRS) also in Lawton, OK.

COL Ware began then began his transition into the Army Acquisition Corps in 2005.  He completed his graduate degree and was assigned to West Point as an Instructor and Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science department. COL Ware then served as the Combat Training Instrumentation System Assistant Product Manager with the Program Executive Office for Simulation Training and Instrumentation in Orlando, Florida. 

He subsequently completed a rotation with Headquarters Department of the Army as an Army Systems Coordinator for the Patriot missile system.  COL Ware then went to Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) located in Bratenahl, Ohio after completing a Training with Industry fellowship with General Dynamic – IT (formerly CSRA) in Falls Church, Virginia. COL Ware served as the Director of the Cleveland DCMA office for three years.  Responsible for the Northeast Ohio Region, his office managed over 2,500 Department of Defense contracts valued at more than $2 billion.

Ralph’s final assignment in the military was as the Senior Military Advisor to the Director of the Defense Contract Management Agency.  DCMA is a Department of Defense agency consisting of more than 12,000 civilians and military personnel who manage more than 300,000 contracts, performed at 15,000 locations worldwide, with a total value of more than $7 trillion. 

His deployments include Kosovo (Operation Joint Guardian – Kosovo Force 4A) 2002 as a Platoon Leader and Executive Officer, Iraq (Operation Iraqi Freedom) 2003 as a Battery Commander, and Afghanistan 2014 as the Regional Command, Capital Acquisition Advisor.

COL Ware’s education includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Master of Arts degree in Management and Leadership from Webster University.  COL Ware is a member of the Army Acquisition Corps and is Level III Certified in Program Management, Contracting, and Information Technology.

COL Ware’s awards and decorations include the Defense Superior Service Medal, Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal (three OLC), Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal (one OLC), Army Achievement Medal (five OLCs), Iraq Campaign Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Kosovo Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Ribbon, and NATO Medal.
